Special Sign Language Event
A very special 1 hour BSL event with our deaf tutor Sadaqat. This is a great opportunity to practise and perfect what you’ve learnt so far. This is a laid back enjoyable event with interactive games, jokes, receptive stories and we select students to have a conversation in BSL with the teacher.
Course Information
About Sadaqat
Sadaqat is a deaf tutor who teaches British Sign Language and also provides BSL interpreter services. He has a level 6 award in British Sign Language, Deaf Awareness training and PostGrad Certificate in Education degree. As well as being a long-time teacher, Sadaqat is an entrepreneur who has founded his own company.
Event content
The special BSL event will consist of watching various conversations in BSL with Sadaqat, along with practising your fingerspelling and trying to see if you can understand what Sadaqat’s stories are about using the skills you’ve learnt from completing your BSL Level 1 and 2 courses. The class will be held online via Zoom Meeting.
It will be a fun relaxed evening class which will benefit your BSL learning journey.
